About Jet Precision Engraving

My name is Jason Thompson, and I'm the owner of Jet Precision Engraving and Hats For That in Versailles, Kentucky. 

I'm a hometown Kentucky guy - raised right here as a proud Yellowjacket.  Growing up, life revolved around sports, hard work, and family. I played baseball, wrestled and football.  Outside of sports, most of my time was spent working - helping on farms, cutting tobacco, throwing hay bails, mowing yards, and washing and detailing cars. Otherwise, you could usually find me fishing or hunting with my buddies. Those early experiences taught me the value of discipline, responsibility and doing a job the right way the first time.

After high school, I built a career in healthcare and have spent more than 25 years working as an occupational therapist.  Helping people regain independence after injury or illness has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life.  

In 2001, Uncle Sam called with great opportunity, so I joined United States Army and never looked back for the next 20 years.  I worked as as a medical plans and operation officer, both here at home and overseas, collaborating with multinational partners, NGOs, and diverse teams around the world.  I spent more than a decade in leadership and management roles, responsible for planning, coordination, and taking care of the people around me.

Jet Precision Engraving, along with our custom hat brand, Hats For That, grew out of desire to build something with my hands again - something tangible, reflecting craftsmanship, pride, and attention to detail.  What started as passion quickly became a small business focused on producing high-quality custom engraved products, custom hats and personalized items people  are proud to wear, gift or display. 

Every piece is created with care and precision using professional laser engraving equipment and quality materials.  Whether it's a single custom item or a larger order for a business, team, or organization, my goal is simple: deliver something that represents the customer well and stand the test of time.

Above all else, my life is guided by the values which matter most to me - God, Family, and Country.  I'm blessed to share this life with my loving and supportive wife of 25+ years and our two incredible children.  Our family is proud to call Kentucky home, and we're excited to watch our next chapter unfold - including one of our kids soon becoming an official Kentucky Wildcat!
